The Hidden Lake is considered one of the crown jewels of hiking in Washington; Mount Rainier offers desolate and remote peaks and during winter it becomes a real winter wonderland. The picture taken from above offers a unique view of the beautiful scenery.

It looks like this man felt a bit tired after harvesting the grains so he decided to rest in the fields. There is a new social network called Dronestagram which was designed specifically for sharing drone photography. It was founded by Eric Dupin and it partnered with other companies to hold the 2015 Drone Aerial Photography Contest.

"Drones are becoming an increasingly accessible way to get a new perspective on the world," said Dupin in a statement, "There literally are no physical limits as to where a shot can take place anymore." A lot of the pictures in this post were part of the contest. The colors of this picture taken in French Polynesia are absolutely beautiful.

Le Mont Saint-Michel is an island located in Normandy, France. The island has held fortification since the 8th century AD, nowadays it has been the seat of a monastery. Prohodna is a karst cave located in Bulgaria, it is known for the eye-like holes in its ceiling. This picture looks like the location of the next Jurassic Park movie, the only thing missing are a couple dinosaurs running inside the cave.
