China's leaders have promised to play an important role in the markets of their huge economy, and many reforms are already in process, althought in many areas the country is still closed. The country banned the photo-sharing platform after the democracy protests that rocked Hong Kong in 2014.
Casinos aren't accepted
China banned gambling in 1949, and casinos can't operate in the country. However many Chinese have an addiction for gambling, a traditionfrom thousands of years. This has not prevented the creation of clandestine casinos operating on the outskirts of mainland China.
Avatar can only be seen in 3D, 2D is forbidden
The Chinese authorities banned the 2009 filmmaking (in two dimensions, yes) because they claim that it incites the revolution. Something that apparently- and for them - doesn't happen when is seen in 3D with glasses.
Brad Pitt is not very welcome in China
