When most think of a hotel or hotel room, they probably think of the average room with white walls, chairs, tables, and a set of beds and so on. However, the hotel images below take away all those mundane characteristics of the typical hotel. Some of them look cool while others look straight up weird. Here are some hotel rooms that many have never seen before.
1. Panic Room – Au Vieux Panier (Marseille, France)

This one could drive someone crazy, but perhaps there are a select few out there who would like it. This room is perfectly divided between one side that is plain white while the other is noting but graffiti.
2. The Mine Suite – Sala Silvermine Hotel (Vdstmanland County, Sweden)

A cave-like room that is decorated with a bed, two silver chairs and some candles. The room is perfect for those who love caves, giving them the atmosphere of a cave. Perhaps this is a real cave and not just for show.
3. The Nautilus Suite – Poseidon Undersea Resort (Poseidon Mystery Island, Fiji)

This particular hotel room is like no other on this planet. It sits about 20 to 30 feet below the ocean. Fish and all types of sea creatures can be viewed through the giant window in the room. The room itself is best described as oval shaped.
4. Rock Bottom – Madonna Inn (San Luis Obispo, California)

Rock walls surround the inside of this room, giving it a rather dark, interesting look. However, there is one window to look out of, so it’s not completely dark. A good sized bed, a few sofas, and a screen tv are held withing this room of mystery.
5. The Gilded Lounge Suite – a Maison des Champs Elysees (Paris, France)

If there was one word to describe this room, it would be spacious. The thing that stands out the most in this room is this random, giant lip that sits in front of what looks like a doorway. The ceiling in this room is at least 15 to 20 feet tall.
6. Vous – Madonna Inn (San Luis Obispo, California)

This one may give the feel of being under water, although there is no water. What does give this feeling is the dark blue patterned walls, blue bed, and even blue carpet. The walls of the room are interestingly curved in different directions. It’s for sure not the average looking hotel room.
7. Glass Igloo – Kakslauttanen Igloo Village (Lapland, Finland)

In this room are two beds designed in zebra-like patterns. Above them is nothing but round, dome-shaped glass with a breath taking view of a forest. This room must be really cool to be in while it’s raining or snowing.
8. The Kiboko Star Bed – Loisaba Wilderness (Laikipa, Kenya)

In the middle of what looks like an Africa safari sits an isolated room raised from the ground on a wooden deck. On this little wooden platform is a single bed. One could guess the main reason of the platform is to avoid the danger of animals such as snakes and lions.
9. Ice Suite – Hôtel de Glace (Québec, Canada)

A triangular prism-shaped room with purple walls surround a small, purple bed and a lovely warm fireplace. The walls seem to have an engraved surface that somewhat resembles a butterfly. Not to mention, the bed sits on an ice-like surface.
10. Panorama Suite – The Alpina Gstaad (Gstaad, Switzerland)

This room sits a lovely, gray marble hot bath that sits under a beautiful wooden ceiling. It really doesn’t have windows but has a long rectangle-like area that one can look out of to get a spectacular view of the mountains, clouds, and forests.
11. Nostalgie – V8 Hotel (Stuttgart, Germany)

The best theme to describe this room would be junkyard but definitely not in a negative way. The bathroom is enclosed in a creative, round shed-like room with paint intended to look like rust. The bed looks like a fake cut out truck that can probably sit a couple. This room may sound junk like, but it’s not in any way, shape or form.
12. Temple of the Blue Moon – TreeHouse Point (Fall City, Washington)

This one is pretty much a club house on steroids, which no kids could ever build. The house’s foundation is built upon tree trunks about 30 feet above ground. In the middle of the house is a tree trunk. The house does, however, actually have legit roofing and windows.
13. The Sultan’s Suite – Çirağan Palace Kempinski (Istanbul, Turkey)

This European style room has breath-taking gold curtains. Behind it are large windows and a beautiful view of water and boats. A king sized bed, a large couch, and a large flat-screen tv all sit within this room.
14. Villa La Cupola Suite – Westin Excelsior (Rome, Italy)

A giant king sized bed sits within a large room with beige walls and plenty of lamps. This room looks fit for a king with the giant windows decorated with red curtains and beautiful furniture. The most prominent color in this room is probably red.
15. Presidential Suite – Hotel Cala di Volpe (Sardinia, Italy)

This breath taking hotel room sits in a place that looks like Spain. It has got a balcony large enough to sit a swimming pool, which it does. The tile floor on the balcony is decorated with the colors blue, green, and gold. It looks like there is some type of living room in the center of the balcony.
16. Hugh Hefner Sky Villa – Palms Resort (Las Vegas, Nevada)

This hotel room has a large balcony that overlooks the city from hundreds of feet in the air. It has got swimming pool with a scary twist. About half the swimming pool protrudes out from the balcony, suspending it hundreds of feet in the air.
17. Ty Warner Penthouse Suite – Four Seasons Hotel (New York, New York)

In this room are large, pale marble walls with an all-glass shower and a beautiful bathroom set. A small balcony with a large sliding glass door overlooks the city from what must be a very tall skyscraper.
18. The James Bond Suite – Hotel Seven (Paris, France)

On the wall of this room is James Bond’s portrait that is surrounded by enclosed oval walls. In this little enclosed area is a nice little set of furniture to relax on, including a small little fridge for goodies. A large bed is also included with the room, as well as what looks like a giant bathroom in the background.
19. Sol 2 – Playa Escondida (Riviera Nayarit, Mexico)

Stone like walls surround a room that contains a very unique looking white bed. In this room is a counter top with a small fridge on it. The best way to describe the theme of this room would be the Flint Stones.
20. Junior Penthouse – The Maritime Hotel (New York, New York)

This room has interesting circle windows that outlook a city. Two round lamps are responsible for lighting up the place. An interesting set of furniture with unique patterns make up most of the living room. Overall, the room is gorgeous.
