At $25,000 for 1kg (2.2 lb), Almas Caviar is one of the most expensive food items in the world. This world famous caviar from Iran, which is extremely rare and available in very limited quantities, and can only be bought on London's Caviar House & Prunier. Not only the caviar itself is expensive, but it's also packed in a 24 karat gold tin case. Can you say luxurious? If you want to try it out, they have a smaller (non-gold) tin for $1,250.

This pricey cocktail is one of Las Vegas' most iconic drinks, and it truly is over the top: it includes ridiculously expensive champagne, custom designed glasses and a super exclusive dose of Rémy Martin Louis XVIII Black Pearl, which retails for $2,000 per SHOT. Crazy! On top of the drink, you get diamond cufflinks for guys or a gold, diamond and pearl necklace. Less than 50 of these drinks have been sold since it was created.
Mauboussin Mega Sundae ($1000) - Bagatelle, New York
Bagatelle is one of New York’s most exclusive restaurants. They offer a special $1,000 dessert called "Mauboussin Mega Sundae", which features two scoops of the finest vanilla Ice Cream with Dom Perignon Rose sorbet, chocolate truffles, macarons, whipped cream, chocolate vodka sauce and their own brownies, and topped with golden leaf decorations. Alongside the dessert, you also get a $530 Maubossin steel and white gold ring.
Golden Phoenix Cupcake ($1,000) - Bloomsbury's Cafe, Dubai
This cupcake is probably the most expensive in the world, and it's made with Italian chocolate, a LOT of 23k edible gold sheets, and vanilla beans and strawberries dipped in edible gold, and served on a 24-karat gold cake stand. Bloomsbury donates half of the proceeds of its sales to the World Food Programme, to help children in need around the world, so you can eat without guilt.
666 Burger ($666) - 666 Burger, New York
This is a burger, from a food truck, that costs $666. Franz Aliquo, the food truck's owner, created the $666 "Douche Burger" filled with the most expensive ingredients as a kobe beef patty wrapped in gold leaf, foie gras, caviar, lobster, truffles, imported aged gruyere cheese, kopi luwak bbq sauce and Himalayan rock salt.
Buddha Jumps Over the Wall Soup ($200) - Kai Mayfair Restaurant, London

While it may not sound as pricey (at least compared to other items on this list), it holds the guiness record as the world's most expensive soup. It's made with shark's fin, abalone, Japanese flower mushrooms, dried scallops, pork, ginseng, huan ham, chicken, and sea cucumber. You need to notify the restaurant five days in advance if you want to eat this soup, as it takes a LOT of time to be prepared.
