We all love wintertime. Christmas, snowflakes, throwing snowballs to each other, the smell and feel of freezing cold air, drinking hot chocolate, grabbing a hot cup of anything that warms up our hands, wearing winter clothes, accessories, nice hats and staying reading a book in bed.
However, some of the funniest parts of winter time is making snow sculptures, right? Here we are sharing the most spectacular snow sculptures of all times. Do you think you can even do something similar to these?
Walrus
Google.
Check it out! This big sea cow is awesome. Look at its size and the detail it has! It makes me wonder how much time its creator spent making it. Well, actually, creators... this amazing sculpture was made by three brothers in Minnesota who love creating big snow sculptures. Great art, people!
Trees
Pinterest.
You may think these are trees covered in snow, but they are actually 100% snow! This is a big pile of snow made to look like Christmas Trees. I love how the little kayak is placed there next to the three trees. All in harmony with the other sculpture. It looks like a beautiful painting.
Star Wars
Pinterest.
Japanese army troops made this Star Wars sculpture, if you are a fan you have to look at this amazing work! It does not even seem real to me but it actually is. Those dimensions as well as each corner's finishing is completely tasteful.
Mouth
Google.
This one looks a bit weird, but at the same time is very well done. I mean, this mouth tongue is even tidier than a real one. Those teeth are nonsense. When I realize it’s snow it’s even better, it definitely looks like something else.
Shark
Pinterest.
Again, the three brothers from Minnesota. Incredibly talented! This shark looks great, they apparently love doing this, I mean, could you imagine how much time these things can take? Not only the time but the patience and dedication you need to put in this work. Kudos to them.
Big house
Pinterest.
This sculpture gave me goosebumps, it’s a whole architectural construction made out of snow. You can see how big it is when you see the tiny people wearing black clothes. They look really small next to this amazing thing!
Giraffes
Pinterest.
Aww, these two giraffes are the cutest thing in the world, look how they are placed one next to the other just giving love to each other. Those long necks and their corpulent bodies are the most tender thing, and it's very crazy this is all made from snow!
Violin
Google.
Snow for everybody, even for music lovers! Just look these enchanting violins perfectly formed with what we love the most: snow! It’s weird how they are placed on a base that has not a specific shape at all. However, it’s interesting how both coexist as one art piece.
Pikachu
Pinterest.
I get that the “Pokémon go” app is no longer the "cool" thing. However, this amazed me! Look at this big Pikachu sculpture. It’s perfectly done and comparing it to that little girl, we can understand its dimensions. Wow, it’s funny and simply breathtaking at the same time.
Angry bear
Google.
Hey bear, take it easy! This bear’s fangs are frightening me and they are not even true! Look at it, it hasgreat detail in its body, simulating fur. And the little guy next to it is simply awesome. All the sculpture is really well achieved. I even feel sad that it will melt away.
Statue of liberty
Pinterest.
A whole snow world. Castles, little bears, the statue of liberty, two children hugging a planet earth, showing some peacefulness in their tender faces. This one has it all. The little windows of the castle are my favorite, such detail!
South park fans!
Pinterest.
TV fanatics, there’s snow art for you too! Look at this cool south park representation in snow. Kenny rocks, he and the gang are perfectly done. And makes me want to watch south park’s episodes again! If you haven't watched the show yet, I strongly recommend you to do it.
Totoro!
Pinterest.
This one makes me want to hug all that snow! It's one of Japan's most beloved animated characters, Totoro! This is a spot-on snow sculpture of our furry friend. Totoro, we definitely love you and everything about you.
Church
Google.
This is so perfectly finished that it looks more like a Barbie castle than a church. I don’t get how can you make such a pointy figure without having it fall apart. All those little windows and the crosses, it's a real architectural work... made out of snow. Crazy!
Amazing snow lion
Pinterest.
Not the lion king in person but pretty similar, right? This lion’s face as well as its hair look so real I can easily forget we are talking about a snow sculpture. It makes me want to touch the perfection of it... but I'm afraid it would just fall apart.
King Kong
Google.
And speaking about movies, here’s King Kong. Look at this figure’s facial features, I think that is the best part about this one. I mean its whole body is also perfect, I can’t say the opposite, but the look this one has is pretty special, don’t you think? So fierce!
Harbin festival
Pinterest.
Its not only one sculpture but an entire village and we couldn’t leave this thing out. This is 2015 Harbin International Ice and snow festival. Works are mostly inspired by Chinese fairy tales and famous landmarks. I see it and cannot believe it, it’s lights and different shapes just amaze me. How long did it take them to make it?!
Horses
Pinterest.
These horses with that little angel makes me want to ride horses again! They look happy, free, as if they were really feeling the snow and the air coming through their faces. Their expressions are perfectly represented.
Elephants
We heart it.
This cute elephant family makes me go run to my mum. Look at that little elephant. That is so cute, how one of his parents just put their trunk around the little one’s trunk. It reminds me of Disney's “Dumbo” movie and makes me want to cry!
Funny Buddha
We heart it.
This Buddha’s so funny! Look at his face, he is smiling just not caring about anything and raising his hands like nobody’s watching. But remember he is a Buddha, respectful and wise. He’s actually chasing something interesting…
