“Hallgrímskirkja” is a Lutheran church located in Reykjavik, Iceland. It is the largest church in Iceland and the sixth tallest architectural structure in Iceland. It was named after a poet called Hallgrímur Pétursson, who is the author of the “Passion Hymns”.

Karen Edwards and Shaun Bayes take their daughter in an incredible trip so she can enjoy their lifestyle with them, they packed what it was necessary and took their 10 week old daughter in the trip to Asia, Australia and New Zeland.

Karen’s objective was to show parents all over the world that trips can be done even if they have one more person to worry about, they can enjoy as parent backpackers as they would as single backpackers, there is not a better way to take advantage of your maternity leave.

"Shaun and I were backpackers before I got pregnant" Karen said, she's 31 years and her daughter 10 weeks old.

She said that everyone thought that they were crazy when Esme arrived and they wanted to take her on their trips.

Shaun left his job as a landscape, the sold the car and rented the house that they were living in, to star their journey with theidaughter.

They traveled across Asia, Australia and New Zeland for 10 months carrying just one bag.

Esme was properly vaccinated before leaving United Kingdom and before New Zeland as well.

This little lady was born in London, with an Irish Mom and a New Zeland Dad, she carries a few cultures in her blood.

As her parent were indicating, that she behaved perfectly during the journey.

They also stated that it was easy take her to the places that they went, since she was little and they were using a harness to carry her over.

Esme wasn't used to live in one place for so long, since they were moving from place to place, that's why it was odd retuning to their house.

It's also difficult to find something fro Esme to do while she's in London, at least compared to travel.

Many people say that having babies will prevent you from traveling, that's not true and it was Karen's and Shaun's main objective, to show the world that they can have a family and travel at the same time.

They said that there were times that they wanted to have a beer and rest however the baby was sleeping...

...And is they took the bear the baby could wake up, the good part is that it was worth it carrying her around.

They were able to scuba dive a bit as well, the only thing is that they needed to take shifts to do so.

Karen stated that it was the best way that she could spent her Maternity leave.
