The latest in military technology shows a tank that can split right down the middle, mid-use! Need backup, but they’re over twenty miles away? No problem! Part ways and hit your opponent from two different angles at once!

Who needs camouflage when you can attack with one half of a tank, and have the other half sneak around the enemy, and hit them from the rear end, how cool! You know, that sounds like a really cool idea, why are we not developing a tank that can split? Or even better yet, ride into battle in style as your tank speeds down the highway and takes on the opposition head-on, while a sidecar tank splits off to help fight the battle! Your tank with a mini tank, since we can’t exactly split and attack yet. Or can we…

Your office printer getting jammed again? Why do these things never seem to work? I mean, it should be simple enough, right? Splitting the device in half reveals just how complex the machine is. You’ve got your RGB colored inks, different tanks for black ink, the loaded (possibly heavy)paper, and the motherboard of technology that prints out your text for you.

So next time you’re smacking the copier for not working properly, remember that the intricacies of the design and technology behind printing words on a paper, is a little more complex than it sounds.

It’s funny how products find fun ways to integrate colors into their mix, I guess to appeal to customers. For example, a very funny and plain old cereal just has to add cartoonish marshmallows to make us crave more.

While I don’t think we’ll want to much on toothpaste the same way we’ll want to munch on cereal, you can’t help but feel like you’re getting the same swirling sensation in your eyes.

Another product to add swirls, even though we probably won’t see them as they’re in use (in our mouths)! The jawbreaker is definitely creative and colorful, I’ll give it that.

The way each ring of color is its own unique color and flavor reminds me of a unique parallel to our very own earth! Hopefully no one will be trying to chew on us anytime soon.

Oh goodness, do not give me the job to cut this object in half. Whoever signed up to try and cut a grenade in half is either insane, or behind a bulletproof glass, fifty feet away, using robots to do the dirty work for them. Either way, it’s neat to see how their design can give a soldier enough time to throw the piece of metal far away from them.

Without the technology of a timed detonation, the user would have to be right next to the target and be at even greater risk of hurting themselves!

Every part in a car serves a purpose to a complex puzzle, with its only purpose to provide us with the most popular mode of transportation around (in most cities).

Looking at how the engine is designed, you can’t help but wonder how many hours and failed layouts ended up not working.

With the obvious complexities of an engine, how about one that you can ride on at high speeds?

I like to think of motorcycles as the on-road airplanes, they have to move fast while being agile enough to cut through winds, and you have to be able to sit on the motor.

Some look like offices for paper work, others appear to be living quarters, and some sections simply provide the pipework.

Here we come to the greatest picture on this list, a piñata! Little do most people know, there’s magic to bringing these characters to life. The newspaper and decorative paper are just the cover up to the guts and human parts… that eventually spill out as candy.

If the same were true for humans, would we be besting each other even more for candy? The world may never know! So next time you see something new in technology, or a product riddled with colors, imagine what it would look like cut in half. You may get some very unexpected results.
