We all love trying new things and have a weird attraction to sometimes try weird things that may not even sound tempting… all for the sake of a new experience. Different places and different customs and traditions bring drinks you may think are crazy, but that are just average for other people (hey! They must think our drinks are insane as well). And as it usually happens with new things, the weirder it is we want to try it more just to see what it’s like.
We made our research and we don’t know why but for some reason, these weird drinks were invented and apparently, they are popular with some people. We’ll tell you all about them here.
Beer and milk

This japanese drink was born whenthe producer heard about a milk surplus. A proposition was made to the local brewery to produce a beer with milk. As a third of the beer was milk, it was understood as an excellent way to help local farmers. We're not sure if they have a target audience because it sounds gross but we're glad for the farmers.
Panda Dung Tea

An Yanshi, professor of calligraphy at Sichuan University, has patented a way to grow green tea in panda excrement. As bizarre as it sounds, sales are through the roof and it's become super popular - and expensive!
Tobacco liquid

This was an energy drink that promised to give users a similar experience to smoking. Martin Hartman, CEO of the company, stated that the product did not contain nicotine, but did produce "an energizing effect, followed by a feeling of euphoria and relaxation." This product brought lots of legal problems for him.
Diet water

More than a weird drink, it's a marketig ploy... I can’t believe h0ow anyone could ever invent something like this, and even more shocking, how can anyone buy these.. It doesn’t make any sense. "Regular" water already has no calories, fat, carbs or protein.
Rainbow beer

Ryuhyo ("ice drift") is one of the most interesting projects that we can find in Rainbow Beer, made with water from melted icebergs that float on the beaches of northern Hokkaido. Its bright blue color comes from seaweed extract.
Ice cucumber Pepsi

Of course, this was launched in Japan. Some people said that it had a real artificial flavor that was bad. However, I like cucumber. The thing is that the mix with Pepsi doesn’t sound like the right combination... but that may just be me.

This beberage was sold in Japan as a “natural” way of growing bresats. Well, it doesn’t look natural at all people. You should never drink something that says that is going to change your body. You should just exercise and accept yourself as you are. Besides, we have no idea what's on this!
Pizza beer

Separately both things are perfect. How could someone mix both? Pizza Beer claims to be the World's first "culinary beer", and the ale brewed with oregano, basil, tomato and garlic is sold on select locations within the US. I will admit, this combo makes me curious but I think I'd rather have them separately.
Deer penis wine

Not even its name sounds good. Chinese athletes have long used animal parts to improve their performance. The last thing in their sports medicine seemed to be venison penis wine. There is a variant called the triple wine of the penis, which is made with the sexual organs of dogs and seals, as well as deer. Right.
Kids beer

Some people think that this is a way of encouraging little children to drink alcohol. However, I feel like it is a way of telling them that alcohol is nothing different as the things they actually know. In that way they would not be that curious when they grow up and nothing would get out of control. Just a disclaimer, of course this has zero alcohol.
Garlic drink

This is a south Korean drink. Most asian cultures heavily use garlic and they don’t have any problems with garlic smell. We, usually tend to look for things that take the garlic smell away from us. After cutting it when we cook etc.
Curry lemonade

Of course, we, occidental people are always one step behind oriental people. That is why we only use curry as a seasoning when we cook. Well, Japanese people mixed it with lemonade and drink it. This is also very popular in other asian countries, like India.
Cow water

Why why why why WHY would you drink baby mice?. Just take a look at the picture. It can’t even exist. I know that mice are mostly a lovable little rodent but this is just too much for my own eyes. It doesn’t only sound wrongs it also looks really bad.
Peruvian frog juice

Two incisions are made in the belly of the frog. The frog is liquefied in the blender with the hot broth of beans, honey, aloe vera, and maca. Unfortunately, this become famous and a lot of people are drinking it. For the locals, it's a deliceatessen. To each their own I suppose.
