We all have dreams. Sleeping seems to be the most common thing in the whole world. However, dreaming can be a whole different experience to each of us. Everybody dreams. The thing is what is that you dream about. Mostly, people tend to dream things that are in their subconscious. Things that are maybe not finished something that you started talking about and left in the middle or perhaps something that just crossed your mind a few seconds.
Why do we dream? What happens when we are dreaming? This list will tell you a few facts you may not know about dreaming that will help you to understand them a bit better.
Did you know that we forget the 90% of our dreams?
Between 5 and 15 minutes after you wake up from your dream you forget almost everything. How many times did you wake up all excited trying to tell somebody else everything you dreamed about and couldn't say a word? I mean, in your head, there was a whole world that you are forgetting minute by minute. Stressing, right?
If you were blind your whole life other senses as smelling, hearing and touching start to play an important role in your dreams. However, if you saw some images after being born you will also see them in your dreams. Can you imagine dreaming in black? No images, just different smells and textures…Weird, right?
Even though you don't remember each of your dreams you always dream and everybody always dream too. The fact is that we tend to forget our dreams really quickly which makes us also forget that we actually dreamed something.
