A lot of times borders and border control between countries can be a complicated and complex matter, especially if there are issues like war, mass immigration, or just plain old conflict between nations. But sometimes, and especially when there is a good, neighbourly relation between countries, borders are merely a formality and give way to some cool places where you can technically be in two places at once.
Whether man-made or natural wonders, we are sure there are at least a few of these borders that will pique your interest. We want to go visit them all (including the last one! lol).
What a game!

While border control between the USA and Mexico can be very strict at some points, that doesn't mean there is no neighbourly relation between residents from each border. Residents from Naco, AZ and Naco, Mexico are here enjoyin a little game of boder volleyball. Nice!
Plenty of space for everyone

Did you know that if you're in Slovakia, you can have lunch with someone from Hungary and someone from Austria, all without leaving your countries? this neat table, located right at the border between these three countries will allow you to do so. You could be sitting in Austria while your arms are hanging on Hungary. Weird, but cool.

This is what the border between Norway and Sweden looks like. You can easily stay on the border without actually being on neither country for a while. Seems a bit cold though.

The Netherlands and Belgium are such cool neighbors that a border between both countries. Seriously. Their border is merely a formality, noted by some tiles on the floor. The residents of Baarle and Nassau (the town changes name depending on which side you are) have the border run within the town, crossing through cafes, living rooms, houses, etc.

These cool fish figures are dividing the border between Poland and Ukraine. It's a nice touch - otherwise, this part of the border is so desolate you wouldn't even realize you were at the border.
Get your act together, Haiti!

Dominican Republic and Haiti are neighbors, and it's easy to tell which is which. The Dominican Republic has strict orders to help protect their rainforest and Haiti doesn't, which people have taken advantage of.

Spain and Portugal have one of the coolest methods of crossing the border we've ever seen. If you're in Sanlúcar de Guadiana in Spain, there is a nifty way to get to Alcoutim, in Portugal: you take a zip line there! The trip lasts about a minute and it takes you across the river that connects both countries.
Left or Right?

Choose wisely. While driving in this highway, that connects China and Macau, you need to make sure you know where you're going: if you turn left, it will take you to China and if you turn right it will take you to Macau.

This photo, showing Tijuana on one side and San Diego on the other, shows how different each country can be as soon as you pass the border. Tijuana made the most out of their space and the city ends literally at the border.
Three-way border

This three way border (known in portuguese s Tríplice Fronteira) is a cool natural border. The Paraná river and the Iguazú river (known for its amazing waterfalls) join on this point, separating Argentina, Brasil and Paraguay.

Just like the previous photo, Bolivia and Brazil are separated by a river (that small thin line in the middle of the photo). Bolivia has better conservation practicies, though, so it's also very easy to see the difference between both borders, as Brazil has a VERY alrge percentag
From city to desert

This photo shows how different two countries can be, even while they are right next to each other. On the american side, you can only see sand from a desert area (located south from Yuma, Arizona) and across the border, on the left, you can see the city of San Luis Rio Colorado in Sonora, Mexico.
What a bridge!

This cool (and long!) bridge is the actual border between Sweden and Denmark. As both countries are members of the Schengen Area, there are no immigration controls. If you want to go from one country to the other, it's just as simple as crossing the bridge.

Another nice hangout spot, this place is exactly where Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands meet. As you can see there is really no actual border anywhere and you can easily hang out on whichever country you prefer.

The Canada–United States border, officially known as the International Boundary, is the longest international border in the world between two countries. It's 5,525 miles long, and goes across thirteen US states and eight Canadian provinces.

Once again, this photo shows how stark the difference between two countries can be right at their border. As you can tell, the forest from the Czech Republic is not looking as healthy as the forest from Germany.

If you fancy being in two places at once, here on the border between Sweden and Norway it's easy to do so. While there at some points there is a river separating both countries, on this spot there is a bridge. And all there is to their border is a line separating the two countries.

The border between Belarus and Lithuania, which used to be both part of the Soviet Union is an actual fence - but this doesn't stop residents from both sides to keep interacting. Here we see an old lady from Norviliškės, in Lithuania, having a chat with her friends form the other side of the border.
From sand to town

This photo, taken from the International Space Station, shows the border between Israel and Egypt. While it's mostly sand in Egypt, Israel has made the most out of their land and is highly populated.

Last but not least, an honorable mention to Australia. One of the only countries in the world had has no borders because, well, it does not have any land neighbors. We do know they do have borders at sea but you know what we mean.
